Dear Friends and Supporters,
We are beyond excited to share the latest updates on the Assange Archive! The vision of this living, growing archive is becoming more tangible every day as we tear down physical walls and build up a space dedicated to documenting the incredible fight for Julian Assange’s freedom.
The walls at the Belmarsh Live Homebase in Dessau are literally coming down as we prepare the archive’s permanent home. The process has been both thrilling and emotional—every piece of rubble cleared makes way for the stories and actions of those who stood unwavering for Julian’s release.
Material from activists and groups worldwide is already pouring in! From the striking banners waved at protests, to the weathered leaflets distributed in rain or shine, to the artwork that captured the spirit of resistance—we are honored to receive and archive these powerful symbols of solidarity. Each item tells its own story, a piece of the larger mosaic that represents the global movement for free press, human rights, and justice.

And we know there is still so much more to come! With your help, we hope to fill these walls with the voices and actionsof brave people from every corner of the world, who kept the flame of truth alive while Julian was unjustly detained.
This archive is a testament not just to Julian, but to all of you. The activists, the organizers, the artists who showed up year after year, rain or shine—you are the ones who made this possible. You fought against all odds, and together, we brought Julian home.
But we’re not done yet. The Assange Archive will continue to grow, and we still need your help. If you have material from protests, events, or actions—photos, videos, banners, or leaflets—we invite you to send them in. Help us ensure that the story of this movement is told in its entirety and that the people who stood up for Julian are remembered for their bravery and dedication.
It’s been a long and difficult road, but as the physical walls come down here in Dessau, we feel the walls of silence and repression crumbling as well. Together, we made history. And now, with the Assange Archive, we will make sure that history is remembered.
Stay tuned for more updates, photos, and videos from the archive's progress. We look forward to welcoming you to this space soon—where the past struggles and triumphs are forever celebrated and the fight for truth lives on.
In solidarity and gratitude,
Manja, Tom and the Assange Archive Team
